ISO 27001 is one of the most well-known and internationally recognized information security standards. It specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an information security management system within the organization’s context and defines how organizations should manage and handle the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details, or information entrusted by third parties. It certifies the responsible and secure handling of sensitive information at Intertec and shows the importance we attach to information security.
In order to achieve this certification, Intertec’s compliance was validated by an independent audit firm (AENOR) after a rigorous process of demonstrating our ongoing commitment and systematic approach to managing and protecting the organization and customer data.
We accomplish this through rigorous implementation of security controls across areas such as:
- Risk analysis and mitigation,
- Data asset classification and handling,
- Communications security,
- Access control,
- Physical security,
- Business continuity,
- Incident management, and
- Compliance
Being in the IT services industry, security, especially our client’s data, is something we take very seriously. We set the goal of continuously improving our security standards and will be audited every year to maintain this high standard.
